Possible “Medical Episode” Leads to Fatality in Downtown Las Vegas

A 68-year-old was found dead early on New Years Day, after an apparent medical episode while driving that led to a car crash. The accident was reported just after 2:00 AM, in the 1700 block of Fremont St. Allegedly the 2010 Ford Escape continued through a parking spot and collided with a wall. The driver was taken to Sunrise Hospital, where he was unfortunately pronounced dead. The death is yet to be considered a traffic fatality, as the official cause of death is yet to be determined from the Clark County Coroner's Office. Car accidents are on the rise in the Las Vegas area. At Edward M Bernstein and Associates, we take these accidents seriously.
