Three-Vehicle Crash in Henderson Leaves One Dead, Two in Critical Condition

On Wednesday night in Henderson, Nevada, one person was killed and two others were injured in a three-vehicle crash. The incident happened around 8:30 pm in the South Valle Verde Dr and Clearwater Canyon Dr area. According to the Henderson Police Department, a silver Honda struck a black Ford, causing the Ford to veer into the oncoming lane, striking a Hyundai SUV. The collision caused the driver of the Ford to be partially ejected from the vehicle. The driver of the Ford, a 54-year-old Las Vegas resident, was later declared to have died at the scene, according to the Clark County coroner’s office. Two other people involved in the crash were taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition. According to Henderson police, high speeds and reckless driving were considered factors in the incident.       “Car accidents are on the rise in the Las Vegas area.
