20-Year-Old Woman Dead After Suspected DUI Crash

A 20-year-old Las Vegas woman lost her life last Saturday in an alleged DUI collision on U.S. 95. According to preliminary reports, the crash occurred around 10:00 pm near mile marker 39 along U.S. 95 southbound. A blue Honda reportedly lost control while driving down U.S. 95 before spinning onto the shoulder of the highway and crashing into the center median, according to authorities. This crash resulted in the car being overturned, ejecting one of the passengers, the 20-year-old Las Vegas woman. When first responders arrived at the scene, the woman was pronounced dead. Authorities believed impairment to be a factor in the crash, and the driver of the Honda was arrested on multiple charges following the crash. This incident is still being investigated by Las Vegas Police, who said additional information will be released when it becomes available.     “Car accidents are on the rise in the Las Vegas area.
