Woman Critically Injured in February Car Crash Has Passed Away A woman has passed away after battling injuries sustained in a February car crash, according to police.  The woman, Tara Cheatham, 30, was involved in a serious accident while attempting to flee a police stop on February 24. According to police, Cheatham was driving a 2008 Lexus east on Warm Springs Road around 7 a.m. following a trooper’s attempt to pull her over. She recklessly tried to pass a car in front of her and hit that car along with two other vehicles driving the opposite direction.  Nevada Highway Patrol said that their trooper was not pursuing Cheatham at the time of the crash. Cheatham and another driver were taken to University Medical Center in critical condition.  Las Vegas Metropolitan Police was notified of Cheatham’s death on March 21.
