Woman Dies After Veering Off Of I-15 A 43-year old woman passed away on the evening of December 12th after veering off of the I-15 offramp near downtown Las Vegas.    Around 6:00 p.m. the driver of a 2020 Nissan Maxima was traveling northbound on I-15 when she entered the Las Vegas Boulevard offramp and failed to navigate the curve of the offramp. The Nissan continued north and exited the edge of the roadway. The vehicle then rotated through the landscape before flipping and ejecting the driver.   Nevada Highway Patrol identified the victim as Jennifer Shaffer of Henderson, Nevada.   Sadly, Shaffer was not wearing a seatbelt and suffered major injuries. She was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.   This incident remains under investigation.   “Car accidents are on the rise in the Las Vegas area.
