Woman Hospitalized in Las Vegas After Life-Threatening Crash at Red Light A woman sustained life-threatening injuries after she crashed into the back of a stopped work truck on the morning of June 23rd in southeast Las Vegas. According to police, the 33-year-old motorist was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center following the crash around 5:45 a.m. at Tropicana Avenue and Nellis Boulevard. The woman was reportedly driving westbound in a 2013 Hyundai Elantra when she failed to slow down before smashing into the back of a truck that was stopped at a red light. She was said to have suffered life-threatening injuries in the incident. No other injuries or information have been reported at this time.   “Car accidents are on the rise in the Las Vegas area.
