Community Activities from April 4th to April 9th in Las Vegas Valley In the community April 4: Signature Productions’ Fiddler on the Roof will be at the Summerlin Library and Performing Arts Center from April 4 through the 29. Shows run 5 nights per week; dark every Sunday and Monday. Shows are at 7:30 pm with three Saturday matinees at 2 p.m. on 4/15, 4/22, & 4/29. April 5: Yvette Auger's Cosmopolitan Connections is presenting "The Pirate Themed Networking Event!" featuring The SinCity Steampunk Dolls, Bunker Bradley Couture Models & Fashion, Roselyn Poon's Birthday & Cupcakes & Much more. The free networking event will go from 7pm-9pm, at “Salute Trattoria Italiana,” located at Red Rock Casino. April 6: At 6pm there will be a free Kombucha making class at the Centennial Hills Library. Participants will learn how to make the 2,000 year old Chinese drink and be able to taste a variety of flavors. April 7: The Great Vegas Festival of Beer is returning for its 7th year, featuring over 100 of the world’s top craft breweries across three blocks of Downtown Las Vegas. Sample from nearly 400 different craft beers while enjoying delicious dishes, BrewLogic educational sessions, Silent Disco and many other one-of-a-kind event experiences. Also, Pinot’s Palette, the popular paint-and-sip studio, will be opening its third LasVegas area location at Town Square (located on the west end, across from the Yard House and just below AMC Town Square 18 theater). To celebrate its opening, Pinot’s Palette is hosting a grand opening celebration and partnering with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Supporters can sign up for either of the two-hour 7 pm classes on Friday or Saturday for $39, with 100 percent of the painting proceeds to be donated to St. Jude. April 8: Craig Ranch Regional Park is having the largest Easter egg hunt in Las Vegas from 10a, to 4pm! The free event will include 28 large inflatables, 20 carnival games, Easter egg hunts (3 age groups with hunts every 15 minutes, 100,000 Easter eggs), pictures with the Easter Bunny, raffles every hour, live music, face painting, and emergency vehicles on display. April 9: The largest Arts and Crafts venue in Vegas is back in the Palace Station Ballroom beginning at 10 am. The event will feature 120+ vendors and will kick off the season with great Easter and spring-themed crafts and art. Participants will enjoy face painting, caricatures and entertainment. There will also be handmade creations including art, glass, and jewelry of all kinds by local artists.
