65-Year-Old Motorist Killed in 3-Car Las Vegas Crash A 65-year-old driver has passed away after a three-vehicle collision in the central Las Vegas valley.   Police responded to the crash in the area of Twain and Decatur around 6:00 p.m. on the evening of March 13th. According to police, an adult male was driving south on Decatur in a Scion when he sideswiped a Hyundai SUV, which was operated by another adult male who was also heading south.  The Scion then crossed into oncoming traffic and crashed head-on with a Chevrolet Camaro driven by an adult female.  The driver of the Scion was rushed to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. It is unknown if he had suffered a medical episode prior to the crash. The driver of the Camaro was taken to University Medical Center where she was said to have suffered moderate injuries.  The male driving the Hyundai was uninjured in the incident. Impairment was not suspected in the drivers of the Scion or Camaro, however it is suspected in the driver of the Hyundai.  The crash marks the 19th traffic-related fatality in Las Vegas Metropolitan Police’s jurisdiction in 2021. The incident remains under investigation.    Car accidents are on the rise in the Las Vegas area. At Edward M Bernstein and Associates, we take these accidents seriously.
