Bail Set at $750K for Trucker Who Hit and Killed 5 Cyclists in December Bail has been set for the Arizona truck driver who hit and killed five bicyclists on U.S. 95 back in December 2020. Jordan Barson was initially ordered to be held without bail after his arrest on multiple counts of DUI and reckless driving that led to the death of the five unsuspecting bicyclists.  Bail was then set at $1 million before being lowered to $750,000 after Barson’s lawyer argued for a more reasonable bail figure. If bail is met, Barson will be subject to high-level electronic monitoring, drug and alcohol monitoring, and and urine tests along with a no-driving order.  He was accused of driving a box truck back in December with methamphetamine in his system when he hit a group of six cyclists on the highway, resulting in the death of five.  He is next scheduled to appear in court on March 4th, 2021.
