Bicyclist in Critical Condition After Being Struck by Vehicle In the late morning hours of November 29th , a 59-year-old bicyclist suffered critical injuries in Las Vegas after a crash with a vehicle. According to Las Vegas Metro Police, the collision happened at approximately 10:58 a.m. on the east side of the valley along East Flamingo and South Mojave Road. The report includes witness claims that the driver of a 2003 Toyota Corolla was headed east on Flamingo when the bicyclist was crossing the roadway inside of a marked crosswalk. Emanuel had failed to stop for the flashing yellow lights that signified a pedestrian was crossing and struck the cyclist. The cyclist, George Goss, was taken to Sunrise Hospital in critical condition. The driver has been identified as 18-year-old Rikki Emanuel. Impairment was suspected to be a factor in the incident. “Car accidents are on the rise in the Las Vegas area. At Edward M Bernstein and Associates, we take these accidents seriously.
