Pedestrian Dies While Crossing Street in Electric Scooter A 58-year-old woman is dead following a fatal incident in the south valley on the evening of November 28th .  Police received a call at 5:01 p.m. about a woman that had attempted to cross the street at South Las Vegas Boulevard and Agate Avenue while on an electric mobility scooter. She was then struck by a vehicle in a marked crosswalk while crossing the road. The woman was then rushed to the local hospital where she was unfortunately pronounced dead at 5:40 p.m. The Clark County Coroner’s Office identified the woman as Stefanie Turner of Las Vegas. Her cause and manner of death have yet to be released. Impairment was not suspected to be a factor in this incident.   “Car accidents are on the rise in the Las Vegas area.
