Carjacker In Hospital After Being Hit by Car
On the Afternoon of Friday, April 29th, Henderson Police discovered a stolen vehicle driving on US Highway 95.
The Henderson Police said in a statement that the driver refused to pull over, and even collided with another vehicle in an attempt to evade police officers.The suspected carjacker, in an attempt to flee the scene on-foot, was then struck by another vehicle on US Highway 95.
The suspect was then taken to the hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries and Henderson Police said no one else was injured.
This bizarre chain of events caused part of US 95 to be closed in both directions between Tropicana & Russell. The highway was reopened several hours later, around 8:00 pm that evening.
