Two Dead in Semi-Truck Accident on I-15 Just after midnight on the morning of Tuesday, April 26th, the Nevada State Police got a report of a white Honda Accord driving recklessly and unsafely on Interstate 15 with two male occupants.  The Accord was traveling south on I-15 at a high rate of speed when it collided with the back of a semi-truck trailer, resulting in the death of both occupants.  Upon impact, the passenger, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the vehicle. When emergency personnel arrived at the scene, the ejected passenger was determined to have died of his injuries. The driver was delivered to UMC with life-threatening injuries, but later died at the hospital. State police reported that the truck driver was unharmed and it is not suspected that impairment played a role in the incident. The investigation is ongoing.     “Car accidents are on the rise in the Las Vegas area. At Edward M Bernstein and Associates, we take these accidents seriously.
