CEO of Lee’s Discount Liquor Dies in Crash On November 19th the CEO of Lee’s Discount Liquor, Kenny Lee, was killed in a crash in Elko County.   Nevada Highway Patrol reported that the crash occurred at 10:30 a.m. on the highway of U.S. 93, near mile marker 24 which stands between Ely and West Wendover by the Nevada-Utah border.   The victim, Kenny Lee, was driving a white 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan. The other vehicle, with unidentified passengers, were in a white Ford pickup that was towing a flatbed trailer. After investigation, Nevada Highway Patrol found that Lee had failed to stay in one lane and crossed over to the northbound lanes of the US 93 while the Ford was traveling southbound. The Ford attempted to avoid the oncoming Dodge but the vehicles collided and partially hit each other head-on and with a sideswipe.   Lee was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from his vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.   The driver and passenger of the Ford suffered minor injuries and did not need further medical attention. The Ford driver remained at the scene and cooperated with Highway Patrol.   No impairment was suspected in the collision and the incident is still under investigation.   “Car accidents are on the rise in the Las Vegas area.
