Explosion at Manufacturing Facility Injures Six Workers Six people were injured in a Boulder City manufacturing facility explosion on Monday morning. According to the city of Boulder City, the explosion occurred at 14555 S. U.S. Highway 95 at Armorock Polymer Concrete, a manufacturer of polymer concrete manholes and structures used in sanitary sewer collection systems.  The city announced in a tweet that seven employees at the facility were injured and transported to hospitals in the area, but Boulder City Deputy Fire Chief Greg Chesser later clarified that only six were injured. While one person was transported with “significant burns,” Chesser confirmed that all other injuries were minor, even though the damage caused by the explosion was extensive. The Nevada Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and a building inspector is expected to continue investigating the incident.       “Car accidents are on the rise in the Las Vegas area.
