Homeless Pedestrian Killed in DUI Crash A homeless pedestrian was killed in Las Vegas early this morning after being struck by a car being operated by a driver under the influence. The crash occurred around 1:45am, when the car veered off of the road and into a landscaped area, striking and killing a pedestrian sleeping on the ground. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The 27-year-old driver, Pearl Angob,  of Las Vegas was booked at the Clark County Detention Center for DUI resulting in a death after being taken to UMC with minor injuries, later being released. “Car accidents are on the rise in the Las Vegas area.
