Las Vegas Skateboarder Struck and Killed

Las Vegas Skateboarder Struck and Killed A 7-year-old boy was killed after he was hit by a car while riding his skateboard in Las Vegas on Thursday night. The crash happened around 6:07 p.m. on Alexis Drive near Lindell Rd and Harmon Ave.  According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the boy was riding his skateboard on a hill, ending up in the road where he was hit by a Nissan Maxima.  The driver was unimpaired and stayed on scene. The boy was taken to University Medical Center (UMC) where he was later pronounced dead.
