A Mother of Two Children Died in Pedestrian-Vehicle Accident in Vegas

A young mother walking with her children was struck by a vehicle while crossing the street on a central Las Vegas intersection, Tuesday afternoon. The young family was crossing the street at Eastern Avenue and Bonanza Road, when a Ford Mustang ran a red light and collided with an SUV, which was sent towards the woman and her two daughters walking. The children, a 1-year-old girl and a 5-year-old boy, were taken to University Medical Center and are expected to make full recoveries. However, their 26-year-old mother was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. Impairment was not believed to be a factor in the accident and no arrests have been made so far. Car accidents are on the rise in the Las Vegas area. At Edward M Bernstein and Associates, we take these accidents seriously.
