Pedestrian Killed in Las Vegas Hit-and-Run

Last Wednesday night, a pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash in central Las Vegas. The pedestrian was struck by a vehicle around 11:15 pm in the area of East Sahara Avenue and South Eastern Avenue. The pedestrian was rushed to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center. According to Metropolitan Police Department Lt. Aaron Lee, the unidentified male pedestrian later died at the hospital. At around 11:15 p.m., the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in the area of East Sahara Avenue and South Eastern Avenue. The pedestrian later died at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, according to Metropolitan Police Department Lt. Aaron Lee. In a press release, Las Vegas police stated that the unidentified male pedestrian was crossing East Sahara Avenue when he was struck outside of a marked crosswalk. After being hit, the vehicle that struck the pedestrian fled the scene. Las Vegas police are still investigating this incident and described the vehicle as being a newer four-door sedan.
