Pedestrian Was Hit By A Car And Killed Near Las Vegas Strip A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle on the morning of February 11th, just north of the Las Vegas Strip. According to police, the incident occurred around 11:00 a.m. on Sahara Avenue near Las Vegas Boulevard. The pedestrian was not crossing the street at a crosswalk and narrowly avoided being hit by one car before being struck by two others immediately after. Police are unsure as to why the pedestrian was on the road before being hit. The victim was taken to University Medical Center before being pronounced dead.
